The game IQs listed on each page are an attempt to provide an effective measure of how well you are performing at the game compared to other players. The values are generated by a statistical analysis of all the game scores recorded by registered players (guests scores are not included as they are less likely to be taking the game seriously). A value of 500 is average, meaning your average score is just about the same as the average score for all players. Anything above 500 is better than average and anything lower is below average. Each interval of 100 points represents a full standard deviation about the mean.

Loosely, you can consider the following a guideline for assessing your skill:

< 300 – you pretty much suck
300-400 – not too good
400-450 – needs improvement
450-550 – close to average
550-600 – pretty good
600-700 – very good
700+ – insanely good

These stats are updated site-wide every 4 hours so changes will not take place immediately after playing a game.
