Privacy Policy
Play With Your Mind (PWYM) sells games, not your personal information. Thus, this privacy policy is simple. Except where it is essential to serve a clear and necessary function, PWYM websites and products do not store your information. If it is essential to store your information, it is not retained longer than necessary to serve that function.
Newsletter Emails
PWYM offers the opportunity to subscribe to an email newsletter. This is an optional way to interact with additional content relevant to games created under the PWYM brand. Emails are low volume, typically no more than once a month, and generally limited to announcements about the game, or interesting topics related to PWYM products. Your email is never shared with third parties, with the exception of the email distribution provider. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email will be stored in order to route emails to you. You can unsubscribe at any time, and that will be immediately and automatically processed. You may request your email address to be deleted from the records at any time, whether or not you've unsubscribed.
Discord
PWYM runs a Discord server. You may sign up using this link. Content you provide on that Discord server is stored on Discord. Please keep in mind that it is a public Discord server. When interacting with the PWYM Discord bot, it does not store personally identifiable information about you. The server logs for the Discord bot are retained for 7 days.
Logging
When interacting with PWYM websites, your IP address is stored for 30 days to investigate and prevent potential abuse.
Crash Reports and Debug Logs
PWYM digital products and websites automatically report crash and error reports to help make them more reliable for you and other players. To the extent possible, potentially personally identifiable information is excluded or scrubbed before it reaches PWYM. Crash reports are kept for 90 days.
If you choose to upload runtime logs for playtesting or troubleshooting, then they will contain relative timestamps and interactions, but no personally identifiable information.
If you choose to provide written feedback or bug descriptions, those records will be retained for troubleshooting and sentiment analysis. If any personally identifiable information is discovered in that content, it will be deleted.
Steam
Games published by PWYM on Steam use native integrations with Steam to provide a better play experience and social interaction. Any information about your Steam account is stored on Steam.
Data Deletion Requests
EU residents may exercise their rights under GDPR, and California residents may exercise similar rights under CCPA to access and erase any data that may be stored about them. Please contact [email protected] to initiate that request.
Players Under 13yo
PWYM does not knowingly store information about children under the age of 13, nor are any products that PWYM sells targeted at children under 13 years old.
